The Wrexham Open 2017 Results
The Wrexham Open Fencing Competition took place on the 10th and 11th of June at Darland Sports Centre.
It was lovely to see so many fencers, especially young fencers competing over the weekend. As a grassroots club we strive to grow and encourage our young fencers. For some it was their first 'open' event and they handled themselves extremely well. Thank you to everyone for your support at a time when many competitions are cancelled due to low numbers especially those who travelled some distance. It's so important that clubs keep in contact and support each other to enable this great sport to continue for generations to come.
Also a big thank you to all the club members that turned up to offer support and who helped out in the kitchen and to Max for the sterling job of running DT on both days especially as he was also fencing on Sunday.
